I dont see how he is the left's nightmare in anyway.
it seems like the right is only championing him because he is black. if not, then why him ? is he not saying the same things as other more prominent preachers and even politicians ?
Actually, the only people who have mentioned anything about Ben Carson's skin color in this thread have been black leftist like yourself. Why does everything have to be about race? Can't people appreciate the fact that he gave an amazing speech while our President sat there dumbfounded and confused at the bold statements he was listening to?
Of course you want to instantly make it about race, that's the easy way out. It's always the easy way out.

His race does not make me think less of him( not even sure how you got that from my comment). I was just saying that it seems the right has been trying to prop up its black members lately and to the same extent, its Latino members.
I remember during the election(around mid October) I began regularly having political conversations with a few conservatives on twitter. After a while their responses to me all tailored the same way. They would send me pictures of Romney with his african american supporters and they would try to persuade me into (i guess) becoming a conservative by saying " this man is a good black role model and then linking me to some conservative african American preacher or young politician. It was never Romney with his white supports or mixed coalition, it was never a white Republican.
As you said, you honestly like the man and his speech, but i have just been seeing a pattern. If the right is going to start embarrassing its non white members, i would like it to be real and not some artificial plant to get votes.

My opinion is based on not just this thread but the ones that have already been started on this forum by other posters. As i said, I see a pattern. And for a racist like you to ever claim that someone else only sees race is moronic. And race is far from the easiest way out. Once you bring it up, alot of people try to shut the conversation down instead of actually discussing it.
so if You want to actually have a conversation about it, we can instead of you just yelling " look, he said race!!!"
His speech being amazing is your opinion, so no, everyone can not appreciate it the same way you do not appreciate any one of Obama's speeches.

I don't know what your tweets have anything to do with this. I think many people were really taken back by the speech. I sure was. I feel like you can't get past the fact that he's black.
I wish that the RWNJs would stop looking for the next Herman "Uzbekibekistanstan" Caine and would simply leave the inspirational Dr. Carson alone. He gave a great speech. No need to draft him into your agenda.
They're bitter and confused in defeat and desperate for a minority token, especially since the literal meltdown of the Great Brown Hope last night. It sounds like they misjudged Dr. Carson.

The first 2 threads started by conservatives( atleast the first 2 i saw) about him on this site both talked about him being "a black person we could be proud of not like Obama".
