The thing I find really disturbing is the BS claim by the LGBT community that they only want to be accepted. No... You want to PUSH that sickness into all aspects of life, flaunting it in our faces. All the while demanding the world accept your lifestyle as normal.

Tell me LGBT community... Is it NOT enough that we don't give a tinker's damn what you do in the privacy of your own bedrooms?

Events <<< This is the link to the K-State Events calendar. I am not sure if this page will exist tomorrow, so I'll take a snap of it and post it elsewhere in the thread..

From this 2nd link you can see how wholesome this Drag Queen show is with acts like:

7th Annual K-State Drag Show! Going To Camp! | Manhattan

I would post youtube links to this but you can look it up yourself because I view this crap as immoral and filthy porn.

The world is screwed up!
You are talking about apples and oranges. This is a public school. Celebrating LGBT students is celebrating diversity. Celebrating religion in a public arena on public tax dollars is against the constitution. Homophobia and hate brought on by your comment in bold are not welcome in such an arena, either. If you don't want to attend, then don't. If you don't want to see it, stop watching the video and obsessing about it. Since I don't believe in the hate your religion enforces, I don't have to attend your church. Freedom for all. Plenty of hatred still out there so don't jump off the trailer roof just yet, old man.

How is my vehement opposition to the perverted act of men dressing in drag, performing sexually provocative acts like rubbing their fake breasts in the face of a spectator, then dry humping that person and another IN PUBLIC, on PUBLICLY funded (tax dollar) property homophobia?

Would you accuse me of being a prude if I said the same (and I most certainly would) about a male or female review (i.e. strip show) done in the same venue?

It is true that I do not condone and downright find homosexuality a perverted and immoral sickness. But that wasn't what I was addressing. I was addressing why this PERVERSION, the equivalent of a strip show minus the stripping, is allowed on public tax payer funded property yet a nativity scene is not.

Quit demanding this sick, perverted immorality be FORCED into the public's view. No one cares that this sick crap is done, we care that you are trying to normalize that which is not normal, shove it in ours and our kids' faces. Then act like intolerant bigots and call us homophobes and intolerant bigots because we place our morality above your sick and perverted immoral BEHAVIOR.

By the way, my church is NOT funded by tax dollars.

Again I'll ask: what is stopping a K-State student group from renting the student union for an event, and during that event having a nativity scene? I don't see anything that would prevent a student group from displaying the PERVERSION of a nativity scene in the SU during the time they have it for their use.

To provide a venue for this show, one that is funded by tax dollars, and at the same time refuse to allow a nativity scene in the exact same venue, is beyond absurd in my book.
A school would be required to allow a religious organization use of school facilities.

You are comparing two different things (a nativity scene, and a private organization using government facilities for a meeting).

Anyone here think that our current Government would come out and say "We are now officially a Christian nation"?

ANY student group is allowed to use the student union for their own purposes during the time they have arranged. Christian groups could reserve/rent the space and do a live nativity. A vegan group could reserve/rent the space to do a presentation on the evils of meat. THIS group reserved/rented the space to do a drag show. If you don't want to see a drag show, DON'T BUY A TICKET. No one will force you to go see it if you don't want to. The groups don't need YOUR approval to do any presentation.

Hello? Being a drag queen or gay is not a religion. Religion is religion. You're confusing both, and I don't know why. It's really quite simple. Religion is religion. How each of us is, whether we have blonde hair, brown hair, are tall or short, are gay or not, celebrate our Hispanic or Polish background, or have displays of our hobbies, are not religions or religious beliefs. What about the term religion confuses you so much?

Since Kansas State was closed from December 15 to January 18 for winter break, it seems unlikely that anyone wanted to put up a nativity scene on an EMPTY campus.

This sort of thing is too much freedom in America for these "patriot conservatives!"

Liberty is to be fought for only for things they personally agree with and participate in.

Tell me something. Why are some of you apparently obsessed with trying to prove homosexuality and or dressing in drag is normal?

Why do you feel compelled to push it upon others? Why do you feel the need to label anyone who disagrees with your beliefs as intolerant and bigoted, and do you not see the hypocrisy?
