No my posts were in direct response to your naive comments that this was entirely the fault of the Republicans when in fact it was the fault of politicians from both parties. Open your eyes.

That "blame both parties" bs has been tried. When Repukes could no longer hide the fact that they trashed this country, they began to try the "Let's blame the Democrats for it! After all, they couldn't stop us!" Keep the technique with the rest of your defenses. It doesn't work either.

Democrats enabled conservatives. This all started in the late 90s, when Democrats joined in more corporate policies... repealing Glass-Steagall was the beginning, and then when Bush took office, the era of deregulation hit absurd levels.

The conservative dream. Phil Gramm, he was a major advocate for deregulation and also created what would later be called the Enron Loophole was all part of the right wing dream.

It happened. The immature children took over and destroyed our economy and if that weren't bad enough, they refuse to acknowledge the damage that their policies have done and yet even worse would do it all over again.

We now continue in 2013 with right wing denying and blame... "...it's poor people who couldn't afford homes... it's ALL THEIR fault..."

Nobody forced financial institutions to conduct irresponsible lending. Any comment to the contrary is an absolute lie. Responsible financial institutions simply didn't engage in such poor business practices. One can look to PNC who didn't enagage in such practices.

So why did so many financial institutions do it? Because they didn't care. They had their dream deregulations, and that's what happens. They didn't care who the borrowers were. Many were going to sell the loans.

Most rational people know all of this and have for a long time now, but not conservatives who are in their irrational, immature bubble.

So please conservatives, keep posting irrational, childish right wing garbage to distract and defend your horrible economic policies.

The adult knows better.
Excellent post and spot on! I couldn't have said it better myself.

Yeah, the typical, "HEY, LET'S BLAME THAT GUY OVER THERE AND SAY HE DID IT!"

Right wingers are the scum of the earth. It's what you scrub off a bathtub. Nasty.

the adults also know that ronald reagans policies is what gave clinton his big boom. after all, if we would have gone by what carter gave the USA, the USA would still be wallowing in pig doodoo from the carter years.

First, Clinton was a member of the DLC (Democratic Leadership Council), a right wing branch of the Democrats, whose intention was to promote economic ideology similar to that of the right wingnuts. Clinton was, you might say, the king of the DLCers. DLCers are seen as non-liberal Democrats.

Which is pretty d_mn_d amazing, given the fact that right wingers thought of him as liberal. If right wingers thought of Clinton as liberal, it's pretty terrifying where in the spectrum of fascism that puts right wingers.

Second, this took place right around the time when the sham "trial" of Clinton took place, didn't it? When Republicans who themselves were crooks "tried" Clinton for having committed the same thing Republicans commit every day - adultery.

Lastly, Clinton, although quite right wing himself (being a member of the DLC), was faced with fascist in both the Senate and the House for 4 years, and a resistance from the fascists during his last 4 years.

I urge you to cease imagining that somehow I'm unaware of what happened, who is who, and what the right wingers did in past years, and that when you post take into account that you're not talking to some ignorant teabagger who will take your word as holy. You people do kinda become accustomed to that sort of idolatry from the more feeble-minded in your groups, and I fear you get to thinking everyone else is going to react with tongue-hanging nodding. Not only will I not take your word as truth, but I will generally know if what you are posting is factual, related to what's being discussed or not, or just pure bunk, which is what it generally is.
