Representative Eric Cantor, the No. 2 Republican in the House of Representatives, said Congress could make quick progress on immigration if lawmakers agreed to give citizenship to children - an idea he opposed when it came up for a vote in 2010 as the DREAM Act.

What gives?

Cantor is a greasy politician and will say anything to get votes and is aware that the Republicans are going to continue to struggle if they don't support this....but then again we are talking about Cantor who is a greasy politician and I will believe him when he votes for this, until then he is nothing more than a sack of s**t that will tell you anything you want to hear.

Children of illegals born here in this country already get instant US Citizenship, what's the deal? Do they want to automatically give citizenship to children born outside of the US to parents who are here illegally?

I think that's what he's saying, or to illegals who brought their children here when the children were young. Hell, why not just give the whole planet free US Citizenship?

He's talking about "dream kids"- those who were brought over here as young kids, not actually those born on US soil. They should amend the 14th Amendment to remove the bogus "born on US soil" interpretation a starting point in their negotiations.

Exactly, why even have a US Customs office? Let's just open the flood gates.

At least we would save money on bogus border patrol efforts.

I can hear the popping sound of tea party heads exploding all throughout the south....it kind of stinks when your main guy in Congress has finally realized that your agenda is a complete and total loser.

At least you know now--the politicians who've been cheering the tea party types on never really believed in that agenda either. All they care about is winning elections, and they used you--they told you what you wanted to hear--until you weren't useful anymore. Now they're dropping you like a hot potato. I saw this coming four years ago.

What gives is this: We are under the rule of one party. Two sides of the same coin. We need a third party.

He's a politician, that's what gives...

Politician:

1. A person who practices politics.

"Politics" is derived from the words "poly" meaning "many", and "tics" meaning "blood-sucking parasites."

2. One who has perfected the art of lying.

3. A highly paid yes-man.
