Seems like she got the asteroid story mixed up with the blizzard story. The latter being tied to global warming is dabatable, the former is not. Unless you believe asteroids are attracted to carbon dioxide emissions.

Bill Nye's a relative lightweight when it comes to most sciences but he is a fairly good presenter of science based topics, at least for kids. He's certainly not a go to guy for real sceintific theory and debate.
