Yes, people mispronounce words all the time, anyone on here who claims they don't is a liar.

Notice how the Sgt. Romesha is leaning away from Obama as he tries to put his hand on his arm? He is not impressed.

President Obama Clint Romesha Medal of Honor Ceremony (February 11, 2013) [1/2] - YouTube
It's the end of the world as we know it.

Couldn't respect the president for his actions, so have to nitpick. Do you think that this young man cared in the least? Well, do you?

You take this occasion, which was about a recipient of the Medal of Honor, and use it to point out a slip of the tongue by Obama? Was that all you got out of the ceremony - that Obama misprounced a word - which he corrected himself on?? And that 'Shame on You' applies to everyone else that can't see the importance of this occasion.

I read a book that spoke of the battle at Out Post Keating. For whom it was named. That outpost was one of the worst s**tholes in many ways, and should have never, ever been set up there, and those who were stationed there knew it, and those at Bahgram Base knew it, but those who got to wear the stars refused to reconsider setting it up in spite of the info that it would be a sitting target for the Taliban.

You may or may not support the war, you may or may not support Obama, but at the very least support and respect those who voluntarily put their lives on the line for this country and the lives of their brothers in arms who are out there in the battlefield.

That ceremony was NOT about Obama.
Amen.

This is what gets you all excited? Obama misspoke and corrected himself immediately:
@10:30 "Sending sharpnel, um shrapnel, into his hip...."

Your probably right.....but the left portrays this President has the smartest man alive and gives no others room for failure in the English language........Whys Obama so special when it comes to mispronouncing every military word.

Probably the same reason some of our Representatives mispronounce Washington by saying Wor-shing-ton

Like I said above, only the left makes the big deal, so it's only courteous of us to point it out when the SMARTEST man alive can also mispronounce a word. He even does it right in front of our military and shows them he knows nothing about their world.

We could do a tally of how many mispronounced words compared to President Bush, how many does Obama have so far???

Congratulations to the medal of honor.......

Tell you what. I'm willing to give Obama a pass for his multiple flubs about the military in the same way that liberals gave Quayle a pass for his potatoe flub. Fair enough?

Just look at the spelling of many posters. I hardly think most are misspellings or typos, but more likely the way they think words are spelled.

This is petty, but I do believe the left started this fight.........have to say on C-D it is the left mainly a few regulars that love to find typos and drill it tell the cows come home.
