Eh, where I come from, people wore sweaters and used the saved money for other things, like food. To us heating wasn't for comfort, rather to keep the pipes from freezing. If we could live a happy life like that, so can the people on welfare checks.

Well, while I don't believe global warming is a hoax, I do believe that cap and trade isn't necessarily the brightest of ideas.

Very true, it's not just american big oil goons like the Koch's, the GOP loves the big oil muslims in the middle east as well.
