The argument that drones could be used to do something is the inane argument here.
People's rights could have been violated by any number of means for the past 200+ years.
Someone with an axe could have chopped down any number of front doors.
Do you cower in fear at the thought there's axes out there?
BTW, please point out exactly WHERE privacy is mentioned in the Constitution.
Some questions the tinfoilers need to ask themselves:
- Should you be able to sue others for looking at you?
- Does looking at someone violate that person's privacy?
- Is looking through a camera different than looking through the naked eye?
- Should you be able to sue someone for taking a picture if you appear in the background?
- Can you sue someone for taking a picture of your house, or car? It is an invasion of privacy?
A coupla strategically placed palm trees and you're good to go.
We have to wrap palm trees in tinfoil here in order for them to survive the winter, so no thanks.
See, here's my point. I shouldn't even have to WORRY about walking around nekkid BEHIND MY PRIVACY FENCE in my own backyard. I also shouldn't have to worry about perverts at airports getting their jollies from my body scan. Even if they're NOT getting off on it, dammit, I shouldn't have to be subjected to STRANGERS groping me for no reason other than "we can't profile, so we'll just randomly choose people to pat down. You're number 17 - today is your lucky day."

The government thinks so. They will demand you hand over the camera and if you don't they will arrest you.
They seem to think pictures is akin to planning a terrorist overthrow.
So why isn't the reverse thinking of citizens allowed ?
