15? The 16 year old kid at Burger King should make 15 dollars an hour to cook fries?

I commend his efforts but 9 dollars is still child's play. I see money is a major issue for Americans and it sucks to be poor and poor people have crappy attitudes but with a current cost of inflation how much would this help.

and I hate min wage... yes I have worked min wage jobs, and I have been a manager at a min wage employees. People that live off min wage have an issue. Its not hard at all to make more then min wage if you apply yourself any.
Lol men want sex women want nice things low paying jobs do nothing to please either half all they do is cause anger and frustration which results to unproductive people so its either we raise minimum wage to a decent level were people can succeed or we throw all them slackers off a cliff and they fall to their deaths lol.

I don't think the latter will happen.

47 million on food stamps, but BO is going to correct this economy by taxing the wealthy. What a pathetic joke. And even more pathetic is the losers that believe his rhetoric.

SHEEEZE.

But hey, those minimum wage workers will vote for Obama, even after they lose their job or their cost of living goes up. They won't see the correlation - they'll just keep hatin' on da man.

They'll just have the wrong man in mind.
I think it's too late for them to vote for Obama. He won't be getting a third term.

It's funny he started crying about the speech two hours before it started

The min wage proposal was the ONLY proposal which had NOT already been proposed by both parties, meaning GOP should be on board with everything except that one.
