He was basicly saying Goverment does not need to do jack and taxes do help us at all. Is this guy living is a alternative world where he only believes his own crazyness. Reaching for the water just showed how much of a ass this guy really is
The optics were pretty bad-- but in fairness, it's impossible to come off looking real good compared to a president surrounded by congress, with a hundred applause lines.
What surprised me is that it sounded like a campaign stump speech attacking the President.
Oddly, while he said government is wasteful, terrible, etc, he also talked about how his family and he personally benefitted from it-- which came off to be like "I got mine.. Good luck to you..."
It makes me LOL to think that the GOP seriously does not "get it". Marco Rubio is not going to grab the Latino vote in 2016 and they really don't even care to understand why.
Besides the fact that he made a petualant child speech with NO PROPOSALS or IDEAS...Is the man on meth? Sweating, smacking his lips and then the big dive off camera for water..That was shocking. That speech may have been worse then Piyush Jindal's Mr. Rogers impression or Michele Bachman's stare to nowhere. Just shameful.

Ugh, lets actually discuss what he said instead of the water of the fact that he was reading from a teleprompter.
He proposed expanding federal loans (and presumably pell grants) to the majority of training programs(they only cover some now), i see that as a good thing. 6 months ago, he voted against that very same thing and also voted to raise the interest rates and cut the amount of money in Pell grants( successfully cut the semesters you can get pell grants).
This stupid angry rant of yours indicates that you are probably on meth..... talk about no ideas, that Obama guy has no ideas and rides up every turd with no clue on stage
The last 4 yrs have been shameful.....
I am angry that the republican party is in such shambles that they trotted out this charlaton. Our system of government works better when we have two viable parties. The republicans are not viable at the moment and Rubio was clear evidence of that tonight.
I found his water grab to be completely human. Dry mouth is common when speaking and when doing so with major time constraints. Both men were not specific on much of anything but then I would not expect that from either. I think we will see our first female president in 2016. I think her initials are HC. Why not!

Isn't that how Romney & his supporters came off also? Didn't do them much good, did it?
