Let's see if we can come to some kind of agreement here. In your opinion, is there a difference between working class, middle class, and upper class neighborhoods?

In the Seaport here, Longshoreman (the ultimate working-class kind of people) earn about $150,000 or more, depending on their job, and can easily be living in a house worth that much.

Is there a point to all this, other than showing how petty *******S and DemocRATS are?

There is a difference between public housing, working class, and estate neighborhoods, yes.

Even Obama in his $2 million Illinois home technically "works" for his wages.

workingclass is not about a dollar figure...

funny you mention SKILL...or specificly ''low skill'''

so are you saying a HIGHLY SKILLED MASTER MECHANIC with 30 years of experience is no longer """workingclass''' because they are not unskilled, and they earn more money????

why dont you just admit it....you are wrong

HILARIOUS!

ADMIT IT: Marco Rubio was attempting to paint himself as an "everyman" who struggles like the working class wage folks in this country. "Working class" is often synonymous with lower middle class. Maybe a step above "working poor."

There is no need to mention that you live in a "working class" neighborhood if you're not trying to paint a picture of a lower income area of salt-of-the-earth type people.

By your RIDICULOUSLY super-broad definition of "working class," EVERYONE IN AMERICA except the investment class, the idle rich or idle poor, or retired classes are "working class".... awfully broad brush you're trying to paint with there.

"Working class" has more to do these days with the INCOME you make than the WORK you do, because there often isn't a correlation between whether you get your hands dirty and the money you make anymore.

If you pull in 6 figures, you aren't "working class." Period. I don't care if you're a fisherman, a street sweeper or a doctor. We aren't talking about "white collar" vs. "blue collar" here.

"Working class millionaire" is an oxymoron.

Sorry if it bursts your pretensions of being a "workingclasshero"

How does Sarah Palin feel about geniuses like you using the term "tard?"

Has anyone ever noticed the irony in people who use that word? I have.

The highest concentration of six figure workers are government employees. I think you're right - they aren't "working" class. Nothing seems to get done.

I don't see anything really extravagant in the Rubio home. I have seen on houzz.com some really extravagant rooms and homes that are on that site. Rumson and Deal NJ come to mind as wealthy neighborhoods.

Now why is the left-

1. concerned about Rubio's house (which is worth 1/4 Obama's house in Chicago)

2. not concerned about Obama getting his house for 1/5th of its actual value from a convicted felon

3. concerned about Rubio drinking water, but not concerned about Obama smoking weed and snorting coke?

The left looks more and more absurd as time goes on. Like Germany in the 1930s, the libs turn a blind eye to all of the problems and inconsistencies with Obama. These cult worship leaders are an interesting study in human psychology.

Weird, we must not look that absurd considering we won the last election.

I was thinking the same, where I live in a tourist town you'd be lucky to get a house on the lake for that little. People here aren't even state reps that own these homes. Many work for HP or they're doctors, lawyers and small business owners.

I call this no big deal and if he still owes the bank and doesn't own the house out right even more of an un concern. Are we now going after homeowners after they sell their home.....

When one buys a house they hope to make a profit.....the question could be what did he pay for it in the first place, then again who cares.
