yes in fact it is.

before the Nazi's took the guns, they first proposed to take the guns.

ergo...

apt analogy.

Do the authorities have a list of folks who have explosives in their homes like they do firearms? Sure the criminals won't be worrying about a knock on the door after ninety days to turn over their guns. Everybody else...........

Before the Nazi's took the guns FROM THE JEWS, they first proposed to take the guns FROM THE JEWS.

Fixed it for you.

You know, injecting facts into this nonsense will just kill the thread.

The Nazi's also proposed cars people could afford, and caring for the elderly, that dogs make good pets...

It's just Godwin's law applied to people the OP feels should speak. An argument stands or falls on its own merit, not on the merit of who said it or used it in the past. Canada hasn't had assault weapons for many years and it hasn't descended into the Fourth Reich. Screaming Hitler and Nazi about everything without any other thought is beginning to sound like an angry mentally disabled howler monkey.

I agree with you that an argument stands and falls on its own merit.

In this case, it is the act of a totalitarian violent and vengeful government that would seek to subvert the natural rights of its citizens to protect themselves.

That is what the Nazi's did and that same spirit is inherent in all those who would seek the same here in the USA.

Canada is not the issue. America is.

It remains an apt analogy

Nazis are primarily correlated with white supremacy... I didn't expect to read this when I opened the thread...

The Nazis have not come to Missouri. Now when they do they will be setting up a Concentration Camp just off of I-44 near the Fort Leonard Wood exit. There will be a nice wooden barracks waiting for those of us who won't get with the program!

We are taking the standard liberal view on this one.

Yes the nazi's cared for the elderly and disabled very well. I guess in your opinion. The US isn't Canada. I don't care what they do. Canada has no military we protect them. Germany on the other hand confiscated guns and built their military while everybody stood by and watched then starting killing everybody they deemed unworthy and they had no recourse.
