No it isn't. The vast majority of guns have been bought unregistered. The problem is with those who would use them in an illegal manner. It's funny how people do so much to go out of their way in not placing the blame on those who actually commit crimes.

How exactly is a gun owner in Michigan going to know how someone from Illinois is going to use it? It seems to me that if someone comes up to you and asks you for a gun as they plan on robbing the 7-11 you are already an accessory to the crime. How is making another law which is simply restating the current law going to change anything?
