loses a billion by gambling, and gets a pass because she's sick.
Typical. DEMOCRAT!
Maureen O’Connor, San Diego’s former mayor, lost $1 billion in gambling habit
How the mighty do fall. San Diego’s Maureen O'Connor was a rising star in the city’s political circles, winning a seat on the City Council at the young age of 25 and going on to serve two terms as a populist, crowd-pleasing mayor — a female first, for the city.
Wow. She is an idiot .... You would think after the first 10 million of loss she would realize she sucks at gambling but to lose a billion... what a waste. $274,000 per day for 10 years.... She could have saved the housing market alone.
Feel free to continue down this road if you want all GOP voters blamed from what individual members do.
First we could take Larry Craig and make the assumption all GOP voters are closeted homosexuals that are so self loathing the lead crusades against gays while propositioning people in airport bathrooms. Then Rick Renzi we can take they are lying cheating jerks who steal from people who need medical care from his skimming from his insurance company for 35 counts of federal fraud. Then we can go back to Richard Nixon, well we all know what for. It gets a heck of a lot worse when we start including conservatives as a whole instead of elected officials.
You don't want to go around blaming groups for what individuals do unless the group knows it was happening and condones it. That will get real ugly, real fast, for everyone and we will all end up in a worse place.
She is a monster IMHO for taking that much money no matter the problem she has. Also, I am reminded that Jack in the Box tasted a lot better when they were serving kangaroo instead of what they pass off as beef now.
