Not surprisingly, the mainstream media decided to ignore this story in favor of telecasting a motionless cruise ship for hours----
"Cops were overwhelmed immediately".
It's funny how some racially-tinged stories remain local but others go national instantly. I wonder why that is? Do the color and religion of the participants have anything to do with it?
This is the only U.S. media I could find who would carry the story. Notice how they conspicuously leave out race and religion in the headline, and nowhere is it mentioned in the body text. But readers noticed the whitewashing-

Why does the LA Times COVER UP the fact that this brawl is between Somali Muslim students and African-American students? Local news sources and UK media do not HIDE the long-standing tension between Somali Muslims and black Americans:
1. Not sure why we keep importing Somali Muslims not sure it's wise.
2. African American kids don't get along with anybody but remember they're the victims.
In a statement posted on the school's website, district spokesperson Stan Alleyne wrote: 'South is a very diverse high school.
'It is a microcosm of the city. Students function together at a high level every day. That is the strength of this school. Our students live diversity every day.'

Did at my school. Everybody got along. We had the most diverse school in the state. Bosnians, Mexicans, Arabs, Blacks, Whites, Asians.
Everybody got along. If there were disputes it wasn't because of race.

You probably should be careful with posts like this. The truth is a bitter pill to swallow.
