cchi2014.org Liberate Cannabis Hemp 100% for California 2012 Jack Herer Marijuana Initiative

they failed to qualify for the 2012 ballot since prop 19 in 2010 was such a dramatic failure and had a difficult time getting organized, but they'll be ready for 2014. will start circulating the petition soon enough

California really SHOULD be next, but those darned Central Valley-ers keep holding us back (and not just on this issue). Not that I care personally, since I can already buy & possess it legally - but given how easy it is to get a medical card, the whole thing is just a stupid charade at this point.

But between these states listed, I would wager on Hawaii or Vermont.

it wasn't just the central valley that hurt us. prop 19 was bad for medical marijuana. I-502 in washington was also bad for medical marijuana, but california has a MUCH more established industry, and contributed to it failing even in pro-marijuana areas. a map of results for prop 19

Yeah, I guess you have a point! And while I'm not surprised SoCal voted against it (for a number of reasons), it's odd that Humboldt County voted it down too... you'd think they would favor legalizing, but I guess they have a thriving medical MJ industry too.

Going with Mississippi.

Really though, North Carolina would be the first state in the south to do so.
