I've had to sit by some fatties on planes before that I would love to slap. Nothing worse than a fatso spilling out into my seat.

Plane travel sucks. I can understand people like this guy snapping at times, but slapping a baby is just wrong.

I noticed people who are normally up in arms about crimes are not on this thread calling him an animal

I know right. It's really quite simple... Keep your hands off of someone's child and you don't get hurt. MMMKAY!

Neither.

He was entirely in the wrong.

But starting a fight on an airplane wouldn't have improved the situation, in my opinion.

I've asked multiple times how starting a fight on the plane would have made things better, but no one has even attempted to explain it - likely because it is absurd to think so.

He is a rich CEO. He wont make a day. Probably been getting away with worse than this his entire life.

What would hurting him have accomplished?

No one hurt him and no further harm came to the child, correct?

First of all, nothing justifies his actions. This guy is an idiot. Judging from the picture though, this is hardly a baby. It is a small child. There is a big difference between a crying baby and an undisciplined, screaming brat. With that said, the parent had no right bringing the kid on the plane. A simple "shut that brat up!" would have sufficed. Hey, I like my sleep. Deal with it.
