In an explosive exchange outside the U.S. Conference of Mayors meeting in Washington, D.C., security guards for billionaire New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg accosted senior Talk Radio Network investigative reporter Jason Mattera when he asked the mayor about his strong support for gun control.

In the video, Bloomberg is seen surrounded by security. Mattera approaches Bloomberg and asks, “In the spirit of gun control, will you disarm your entire security team?”

Bloomberg’s reply: “Uh, you, we’ll get right back to you.”

“Why can you defend yourself but not the majority of Americans?” Mattera asks as the mayor walks away. “Look at the team of security you’ve got. And you’re an advocate for gun control?”

The video then cuts to Mattera walking further down the street when one of the men guarding Bloomberg, identified as Officer Stockton NYPD, stops Mattera and asks to see his photo ID.

That is hysterical.....LOL.

Bloomberg is part of the "do as I say not as I do" crowd.

When plaxico burress was sent to prison, the GOP should've jumped on that tyrant when they had the chance. Some of these politicians are so dumb.

The security guard is a thug. The man should have refused to present ID. The NYPD cop has was outside of his jurisdiction.

That NYPD cop was just asking questions just like the reporter. He was a little thuggish about it. The reporter could have just walked away and the cop couldn't have done anything.

Btw, mayor Bloomberg is not against hiring trained and armed security guards for protection. Licensed security guards are free to carry guns while on duty. There is no hypocrisy here.

Can't blame Bloomberg for not disarming his security team, he is after all on the NRA's enemy list.
And Materra is nothing but an ignorant blowhard ass.

So it's ok for the wealthy to have security because they can afford to hire guards but it's not ok for the common man right? How Democrat of you.

The NRA doesn't have an enemy list, don't be stupid.

I don't think that you and I know what Think Progress, Media Matters, and Daily Kos have told these leaners but I am pretty sure that the NRA doesn't have an enemies list like Obama's.

You're asking the wrong person. I'm not Mayor Bloomberg.

In our society, wealthy people have always had extra privileges.
