If raising the minimum wage has no negative impact on the economy and does in fact help us compete with lower wage countries why don't we raise the minimum wage to $25/hr?

If raising the minimum wage won't provide more incentive for companies to automate and outsource jobs why don't we raise the min wage to $25/hr?

If raising the minimum wage will make labor more affordable why don't we raise the min wage to $25/hr.

If raising the min wage will result in more people working, less people in poverty, and stimulate our economy why don''t we raise the min. wage to $25/hr?

I couldn't vote in your poll since neither choice made a lot of sense. However, 4 people have voted without replying to you. 2 and 2 right now. Did you intend to say that raising minimum to $25 would have nothing to do with the wages of those who are at that point now, because of their work, experience or some other reason. People who think that it would have nothing to do with the economy surely don't manage to look with any real intelligence at what has gone on.

What poll option should I add?

I just see alot of people in favor of raising the minimum wage that don't think it will cost jobs or raise prices. If those assumptions are actually true then we could raise the min wage to $25/hr. If they are not true and raising the min wage does impact jobs, price of outputs, off-shoring decisions, etc. then we should not have one.

Or, maybe the answer is somewhere in between. Maybe the person with no skills should not be employed at all as a grocery bagger, but the people with enough skills to be employed should make a minimum wage.

Default Should we raise the minimim wage to $25/hr?

Yeah, man! And then freeze prices on everything!

Didn't Nixon do that?

'Bout the same time he divorced the control on gold prices?

No we should actually decrease the minimum wage but given even more bonuses, stocks, base pay and "golden parachutes" to the people at the very top.

Go ahead and make it $50 a hr. it doesnt matter when it happens all employees will get fired and offered positions with fixed rate subcontractor positions. That way they will not have to pay a hourly wage or benifits.
