A website called Upworthy is one giant liberal activist social media machine which creates viral social media memes in the cause of liberal political activism, co-founded by the former digital media consultant for MoveOn.org.

Quote:
Upworthy is…

…social media with a mission

To elevate and draw attention to the issues that really matter — from gay marriage to body image to global poverty — through irresistible social media.

Who’s your audience?

Basically, “The Daily Show” generation.
» Upworthy — or, How we are losing the internet to lowest of low information young liberals - Le·gal In·sur·rec·tion

A link to Elizabeth Warren's political agenda question about penalizing Wall Street bankers opens an anit-NRA poll.

Following the poll there is no discussion, but links to spread the 'Upworthy' content to social media, urging participants to share the content with users on the internet.

And this differs from the regular onslaught of links from The Daily Caller, Breitbart, Alex Jones, Twitchy, Limbaugh, FoxNews, etc. etc etc. how exactly?

At any given moment, at least 2/3 of the threads here are based on right-wing propaganda.

What a pathetic society we are these days.

Politics are boring, we need to throw some stupid cat pictures into the mix, or something.

Man...

Never heard of it, but if I run across it I'll check all stats and quotations as I always do with any internet source.

I've seen them in Facebook. I'm ok with them but then I'm less
conservative now than when I was younger.

It's hard to even imagine the amount of technology driven propaganda that we're all going to face when 2016 rolls around. The left is going to bombard people without reprise because they know that 2016 is a must win if their failing plans are to survive in any form.

The right will be hoping to just keep up with the superior use of technology the Democrats displayed in this past election. The way the GOP is going, they'll still be making robocalls to land lines, if there are any left.
