Egads..... way more to the story. The woman was looney tunes and it was another case of a family member trying to get someone involuntarily committed, only to be told she posed no danger.

Don't expect me to become a liberal.

I hold many views and opinions that are often associated with the "left", but I just see them as being what is truly conservative.

Politics has twisted many things around and they tend to become "radioactive".

It is quite sad, actually, because it obscures truth.

I can't even say that much about conservatives. Conservatives are just IGNORANT. What I generally find in right wingers is that they know nothing about their country's history. Or much else, come to think of it.

I am a student of history, including U.S. History, as well as a major branch of the physical sciences.

I have two diplomas to support my assertions.

It seems that your biased schemas concerning conservatives are unfounded and downright nonsensical.

Not agreeing with you about history isn't the same thing as not knowing it.

Oh, her ideas are well founded and make a lot of sense. They just aren't founded in reality and don't make logical sense. But if you accept her political bias, then her interpretations of things make sense just fine. It's straight down the line New Left dogma. Blacks and women are victims, men and whites are oppressors. Conservatives are racists and warmongers. Abortion rights are sacrosanct, gun rights need to be restricted. It's the usual stuff.

Interesting that you say this.

4 of Illinois' last 7 governors went to prison

I note that the head of the executive branch is from Illinois.
