For people who thought she was through when she declined to renew her contract with Fox after they offered her a new one, think again. She has now been asked to speak next month at CPAC. Her speaking at CPAC will bring more media coverage because of her truthful attacks on Obama while exposing his lies and the damage he is doing to this nation. And from what I am reading, Karl Rove is not welcome.

[MOD CUT]

The American Conservative Union (ACU), which runs the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), announced on Monday that Sarah Palin will speak at the 40th annual gathering of conservatives in March.

The Huffington Post all wee weed up had this to say:

"The news of Palin's upcoming appearance comes as the Republican Party looks to rebrand itself in the wake of the 2012 election."

Sarah Palin to Address CPAC in March

The non-Washington, D.C. location of this year's conference is fitting for Palin, who blistered the permanent political class and crony capitalism during her 2012 address last year in the nation's capital in her first appearance at the conference.

Reporters and observers at CPAC noted in 2012 they had not seen anyone who resonated with the conservative base more than Palin.

She lambasted the Occupy protesters who were at the conference in 2012, saying they should be instead protesting at Obama's White House, which has "spurred the expansion of government which diminishes freedom and opportunity for all to rise and to succeed."

Palin derided politicians who come to Washington, D.C. "denouncing the place as the cesspool of corruption" only to, after a year or two, see it as a hot tub.

"And they are hopping in and enjoying the jacuzzi," Palin said, noting it was "time we drain the jacuzzi and throw the bums out with the bath water."

At CPAC 2012, Palin said Washington, D.C. had become "something that our forefathers never envisioned, and they would have sworn their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor to change."

Good lord. The media and the internet blogosphere is exploding with this story. One thing is clear, the media can't get enough of Governor Palin.

Excellent! This is wonderful news! Keep her front and center as the GOP poster girl. Nothing could benefit Democrats more.

I highly doubt Conservatives are behind it..... Republican Neocons maybe..... but of course someone with a very limited worldview like yourself would put everyone into a nice neat label

CPAC is great. It is a collection of crazies and dead enders which make up a delightful comedy act for any sane person who reads about it each year.

Sarah Palin got a raw deal from the media, and few people know of her accomplishments in Alaska, but the way some people venerate her, like she is their modern day Virgin Mary is a little creepy.
