fact: the Monica dalliance came to public attention because of a law that Clinton himself signed, at the behest of the trial lawyers lobby. The Molinari Amendment changed rules of evidence to make unrelated sex escapades relevent in sex harassment lawsuits. Thus Monica was dragged, unwillingingly, into the Paula Jones case. The president's supporters screamed that it was just his personal, private business, ignoring the fact that he himself signed the law that made it the business of the court.
You want to talk about hypocrisy, that was the height of it. Clinton and his supporters were fine with having courts and trial lawyers rifle thru ol' Joe Blow's sex life, but wanted immunity from that for ol' Slick Willie.

so what? the impeachment if clinton was never about the sex, it was about the lying under oath in a deposition. get over it.

The senator is a solid "Pro Family" Christian Republican.
I see that as extremely hypocritical, unless he means the Hefner family.
