The "everyone does it" act by some of the extreme left-wing posters is mind numbing at times. Had this comment had been clearly in reference to a Republican, your (and many other other left leaning) responses would have teetered onto the "well there they go again" mantra...now that someone brings up Uncle Joe's antics within your duly elected administration, we're now getting the swept under the rug talk

IMHO it's because the FAR left people in 2014 ARE as bad as the KKK and Nazis back in the day when being INtolerant is or was Ok.
I heard this a lot during Obama's first campaign. So many white people I knew complimented him on being so "well spoken." Isn't that kind of offensive? I rarely hear that compliment bestowed on other white people. It's almost like saying that you expect a black person to speak terrible English, so when they actually speak well then it's surprising. It just annoys me.
Sometimes it's racist. Sometimes it's annoying. Sometimes it's offensive.
Other times the guy you're talking about choses you to be the Vice President of the United States.
