It's like someone says you must buy a candy bar. You say but I don't want a candy bar. Then the person says you have to buy it whether you want it or not. I'll give you a dollar to buy it or you can spend your own dollar on it. So you go okay if I have to buy it then go ahead and give me the dollar so at least I'm not spending my own money on your foolish idea.

Now you're taking that situation and saying it's proof that people have decided they do want a candy bar.

It's an absurd misrepresentation of the situation in order to demonize the Tea Party. That being the case, I'm guessing you're liberal. This strawman garbage is typical of liberals.
Rick Scott promised several times on television that in no small way that he would EVER expand Medicare under any circumstance and the Tea Party cheered their hero. Then Scott's approval ratings tanked and then after a few calls from his hospital buddies (he was former hospital company CEO) telling him that not taking the medicare expansion would hurt hospitals. He changed his tune. The Tea Party boo's..."We were betrayed". The tea party is just a bunch of useful idiots, much like the religious right.

Expanding medicare is mistake. But you'll find that out next year.

We are starting to see a wave of change as people see the effects of the Tea Party movement. Maybe congress will begin to wake up.
Scott is just like most of the political elite class. He wants to be liked by the press and get another term in office. He won't get either.

Scott caved on the Medicaid expansion because Florida got the federal government to sign off on them privatizing their Medicaid system. i.e. Rick Scott's about to get a whole lot richer at your expense again.

For weeks, Scott has said the debate on expanding Medicaid was directly tied to the state's application for waivers it needs to allow private companies to run the program.

His endorsement of the expansion came hours after the federal government agreed to grant Florida a conditional waiver to privatize Medicaid statewide for the state's more than 3 million current recipients, more than half of which are children or people under age 21

GOP governors in several states will be extremely vulnerable in their next elections: FL, PA, OH, MI, WI, IA and possibly a few more. They likely won't lose all of these states, but they're certainly going to lose some. The public is now awake and aware of the Pub agenda.

Yes, we have that, and then we have Marco Robio (R) pushing for amnesty for illegals.

What's next, are we going to see Dick Cheney, Laura Bush and Colin Powell on a tour bus promoting gay marriage? They already do it on TV. How about Ron & Randy Paul touring to push for legal pot?

Spot on.

Note to Rick: Throwing money at everyone is not going to result in short memories. Start packing now.

Rick Scott is done, and has practically no chance of getting reelected in Florida, so he can pander to the left all he wants, but it will not save his job.

Making public employees Public Enemy Number One in his campaign may have gotten this loser elected, but it's not going to keep him in office.

State employees have not had a raise in going on 7 years, and got their pay cut 3% to plug the "holes" in the budget. He ran roughshod over the teachers, and tried to foist a bunch of constitutional amendments at the public by making it a nightmare to vote. Now all of a sudden, we have a surplus in the budget? Really? Well, Rick, thank the people you've been treating like sh** for that past 2 years for that.
