That’s right, “the Obama Campaign.” He is still campaigning and he has converted his campaign apparatus into his own, personal army of rabble rousers, agitators and virtual stormtroopers.

Organizing for Action (OFA), the group descended from the Obama for America campaign organization, will press lawmakers on Friday to back President Obama’s proposals to reduce gun violence.

OFA plans to host 100 events in 80 congressional districts aimed at urging lawmakers to back Obama’s gun proposals, the group announced Thursday.

“These events range from Letter to the editor writing parties, or rallies and press events, to candle light vigils and petitions for members of Congress,” according to Organizing for America spokeswoman Katie Hogan. “These events were tailored by our supporters on what they thought was the best event for their community.”

Obama has released his army of flying monkeys on the land. Expect to hear from them.

Thats right. I think they are emboldened by SH and are going for the brass ring. Its what Clinton did in 94 and he had house and senate at the time. But it bit him and the dems in the ass hard in the mid terms. Not sure its gong to work this time any better.

So, you don't believe in the First Amendment and believe grass roots organizations are somehow illegitimate. Where were you a few months ago complaining about the Club for Growth and Freedom Works, groups funded by billionaires who wanted to elect Mitt Romney so he would assure that their low tax-rates weren't raised?

Fortunately, the American people are behind President Obama:

Last year Obama said in the SoTU speech that he was going to go after the corruption that caused the mess we are seeing with the economy. I fully supported that idea. Unfortunately Obama didn't really.

100 events in 80 communities?

LOL

What that really means is 100 events in 80 communities consisting of limp-wristed, yellow-bellied, granola-munching cowards all rallying around the same idea while giving each other high-fives and congratulating each other for having the same opinion.

LOL

They might as well give it up. "Meaningful" gun control is out of the question. It will never happen, no matter how many Kumbayah Kamps™ they hold.
