You wouldn't think so, but every few weeks the democrats manage to set a new standard for stupid.

They've managed to convince their supporters that a whopping 2.4% cut is going to cause a catastrophe of biblical (or maybe Mayan) proportions, so apparently they accurately represent the people who vote for them.
