Ryan's approval rating is even lower than Walker's.

Gee, I heard that about Walker before. Wishful thinking.
Polls can produce whatever result you want these days.

Jack Lew and Rob Nabors proposed the sequester to Reid in July 2011.
There's your owners. And who do they represent ?

And Boehner and Ryan supported it and pushed for its passage. They are also your owners of the sequester.

Look, it's takes Congress and the President to get something passed and into law.

The owners are the ones who propose it. It came from the WH.
Congress took it.

Now there's all this finger pointing going on. Why ? Both sides agreed to this didn't they ?

Like a bunch of 5 year olds in the schoolyard with "He started it" and "No, he started it".

Are there no more adults in the Fed Gov ?

Until the dictatorship is fully in place both sides have to take blame.

That's what I'm saying. Both parties voted for it. They own it.

And yet the press is full of accusations from all the elected officials.
There's the hypocrisy.

Why is Obama saying Congress proposed it when it came from Lew ?
There are transcripts of the meetings with Lew and Nabors speaking.

Why is it now so important for the WH to distance themselves from this ?

Obama is saying they passed the law and the sequester was suppose get them to actually compromise and they didn't. Congress failed. The GOP now acts like they don't like sequesters, which my video clearly disproves. The GOP set up the process of tying strings to raising the debt ceiling. They got the ball rolling that led to the sequester. Obama and Democrats have said they will compromise on social program reforms if the GOP will compromise on taxes.

It's NOT just the GOP in the press trying to pass the buck. Obama came out and said that Congress proposed the sequester and clearly they didn't.

I got no dog in this race and have become disgusted with our government.
Neither Dems nor Repubs care one whit about American citizens anymore.

It's not Dem vs Repub...it's us vs them.

No, it is a cut to 2013 spending. Departments that budgeted for $x this year must now cut spending for the balance of the year. This will result in layoffs and furloughs.

11,000 Fort Bliss workers could face furloughs - El Paso Times

As many as 11,000 civilian employees at Fort Bliss and a total of 800,000 Department of Defense civilian workers worldwide could face repeated furloughs if a budget deal can't be worked out in Washington, D.C., and automatic spending cuts kick in March 1.
More than 7,000 civilian employees at White Sands Missile Range and Holloman Air Force Base could also be affected. The furloughs would be structured so that nearly all of the 800,000 civilian employees would lose one day of work per week for 22 weeks, starting in late April, officials said.
That translates to losing 20 percent of their pay during that period.

Where and when did Obama say Congress proposed the sequester? Everything I've seen Obama saying on the subject has to do with him saying Congress passed the law and failed to act and now the GOP is more interested in tying the sequester to Obama rather than coming up with a compromise to replace the sequester.
