That's why starting tomorrow, I will not be too impressed with a resume until I meet the person.

Make your own destiny and stop trying to steal other's.
In a true society you would be held responsible for keeping people out of work and turning everyone down for no reason.

Employment at will is ruthless and unfair because corporations are allowed to do any damned thing they want, any damned time they want, however the hell they want.

Is this sarcastic? You can't really believe that someone should be held responsible for not hiring anyone. I mean held responsible if they didn't hire a particular person for discriminatory reasons, sure, but just for not hiring at all? How could you possibly justify that?

Discriminatory reasons are an even bigger problem. I have aspergers. If I was to tell an employer this at an interview they could already decide in their mind that they don't want to hire me, even though I am fully capable of doing the job. But they don't say it's because of my condition. There is nothing stopping them from saying they hired someone else. They get away with breaking the law.

Thanks for sharing that. I know a couple of people with Aspergers - one is in my immediate family.
