I agree, any law against murdering you is a silly law.

Yeah, right. Everyone is just going to go along with Bloomberg and buy 12oz sodas.
By Jan 2014 everyone in NYC will be healthy and skinny so the hospitals won't be filled with sick, obese people.

And BTW the CDC and WH announced that obesity is on the decline and has been since 2003.
The war on obesity is over.

No one here cares about this soda cup limitation. It seems the only ones butt hurt about it are people who live in areas where they sell soda by the tub full.
Exactly what I've been saying

I was reading up on this and didn't know that Bloomberg had gone to the USDA to get sweet drinks banned from food stamps.
So he did try to do this on a national scale. USDA said no.

Another article was about supermarkets and their exemption. That's because supermarkets are regulated by the state so Bloomberg can't do anything about that. But he did ask Cuomo to make his ban statewide. Cuomo had no comment to the press.

And now the NAACP has joined the lawsuit with the beverage makers.
I guess small sodas are racist in nature ?

And Bloomberg said he's also trying to prevent deaths from diabetes as well as obesity.
So it's also a war on diabetes.

Have you even ever been to Portland? It is a quite pleasant and easy going city. People there don't act like it is the Wild West where you could get shot at a moments notice.

Actually no one here cares how much soda you drink, just don't expect to receive it in a tub form when you come to visit.
