I'll make it simple. If Mrs Fields were to be talking about banning cigarettes from restaurants and she got some "threatening" mail, she'd ignore them because she knows they're trolling. But when Mrs. Fields decides to ban guns, and she gets the same mail, she is a little more nervous because she realizes her actions are more provocatory.
