This thread is dedicated to Barack Obama's blatant, willful lies. I encourage conservatives to list their Favorite Barack Obama Lie and Falsehood™, and I implore liberals to defend those lies and their incessant, unwavering support for the Liar-In-Chief.
I'll start:
"My budget will cut the deficit by $4 Trillion over 10 years." - Barack Obama
The Associated Press is reporting today that Obama's number of "deliberative process" exemptions to the Freedom of Information Act far exceeds the last known record of denial of information to the public; in clear violation of his campaign pledges of "bringing accountability through transparency".
The AP's Sharon Theimer, reported that President Obama used an exemption from the Freedom of Information Act known as the "deliberative process exemption" a total of 70,779 times in fiscal year 2009. Compare that with Bush's use in his final budget year of "only" 47,395 documented instances of hiding government information/plots from public redress.
The best quote that I have ever heard about a politician came from the movie Hunt for Red October, and the quote was "I am a politician, that means that I am a thief, and a liar, and when I am not out kissing babies, I am stealing their lollipops" It also means that I keep my options open"; In my opinion that sums up all politicians.
I like the way liberals defend their guy lying by saying Romney, Bush Reagan etc... lied.
Who exactly said these guys never lied? No one ever.
I guess they are okay with their liar as long as the other guy does it too. Hell of a way to defend what most would call undefendable behavior.
"I cheated on my girlfriend because a friend of mine cheated on his girlfriend". That should work nicely. Just ask her. lols.
Exactly! They never have understood that equivocation is not a valid argument.
