The fact that we don't see people like you advocating for legal sanctions against adulterous marriages clearly demonstrates that the move to ban gay marriage is not at all about wanting to enforce "biblical morality" or family stability.
I am really confused. When did gays and lesbians get a lifestyle, for as long as I can remember they had lives, not lifestyles.
A lifestyle is something you choose, a life is who you are and what you do. Gays and lesbians don't choose their orientation so how could they choose a lifestyle?
I think it would have been better for homosexuals to push for civil unions w/ the same benefits of marriage, instead of trying to redefine marriage to include same sex partnerships.

Exactly. People like to tout that less than 4% of people are homosexual. How many are remarried? More than 4% I'd imagine.
I support the rights of gay couples to enjoy the same protection traditional marriage provides, but I still believe there should be a distinction between a marriage between man and woman and a civil union recognized by the state. Many would call me a bigot for holding this opinion, regardless that I support equal rights for gay couples. This all-or-nothing attitude is extremely short-sighted and a big turn off to those you're trying to get on your side.
No, you do NOT support equal rights for gay couples if you think they should get "civil unions" but not marriage.
