I hold both sides and the president responsible. I also don't think it's as bad as Obama (or others) make it out to be. We're talking about a very small spending cut spaced out over the next decade.

So much for me being "an Obama worshiper" I guess.

Let's rejoin the real world, where the facts obviously show that both Democrats AND Republicans voted for it. Gene Sperling, Obama's National Economic Council Director, came up with the idea, but it would not have become law had Boehner, McConnell, and a majority of other Republicans supported it into law.

So let's stop with the bull****. Being an adult starts with taking accountability for what you voted for. That goes for both political parties. If we can't even be collectively honest about who supported it into law, then we probably can't have the integrity to actually solve the underlying problems that led to the sequester in the first place.
Oh kind of like Bush' war?

Hey OP, you bought the propaganda. Do you remember Obama saying he would veto any attempts to stop the sequester? Do you? What does THAT tell you? Huh? The reason the R's voted for it was to give Obama what he wanted. Pretty simple, now he can lie in his own bed.

Obama does not control the republican House which, for political capital in 2014, is sabotaging his and the democrats' every effort.
The wars were based on counterfeit intelligence drummed up by the Bush administration which many people trusted - and which killed 4500 young Americans.
One wonders where you are getting your information.

You sure about that big guy?
Look again.

There was at that time 50 Democrats in the Senate so there's only room for 4 no votes but as can be seen there's more than 4 no votes. Therefore more Democrats voted against the Iraq war in 2002 than voted for it.

It doesn't matter if more voted against it than for it overall if you add both Houses together. That isn't the point. The point is that the war was only approved because Democrats voted for it. There were not enough Republican votes to approve the war. It was only approved with Democrat cooperation. But now liberals say it is "Bush's" war.

The Senate Democats voted 2:1 for the war - approx 40 for, 20 against. If they had not done that, there would be no war. It cannot be Bush's war if the Democrats had the power to either start or not start the war and they voted to start it.

Oh yea, the good ole housing bubble that Dems were warned about... at least 17 times but the dems ignored them then run for the hills when the blame is pointed out. Noooo not you.

Free is never free and everyone gets to pay for democratic stupidity.

And now OBAMA IS CRYING ABOUT HOW BAD THIS IS.

Republicans aren't the ones crying. Its a freakin 2% budget reduction. Big freakin deal. We will still be spending more than last year. Republicans recognize this.
Republicans want cuts anywhere they can get it and since Obama does not want to look at other less painful ways to cut they were forced to take the sequester. The only thing Obama wants is to tax you and me. Obama does not a problem for all of us to take a cut but cries like a baby when he has to take a cut.

Obama is nothing but a money grubbing greedy democrat. The sooner you realize that you are not going to get "one more dime" and get your nose out of his azz is when you will realize it.

From Congressman Grayson...

Last Friday, my friend Congressman John Conyers introduced a bill called the "Cancel the Sequester Act of 2013"—a bill that, not surprisingly, cancels the sequester.

That's it. That's the solution, in a single sentence. No loopholes. No self-imposed crises. Just one sentence
.
