That is also NOT FAIR.

But you can NEVER achieve financial equality because there always needs to be someone with money to give to those that don't have it. Government is just a redistributor of that money.
" it's just NOT FAIR.' Sounds like a little 10 year old.

What's the matter, can't YOU do better in life?

Instead of being jealous, why don't you something to increase your situation?

Cool, so stereotypes are OK now? If so, we could have a lot of fun with some others...

why is it ok for the government to mandate what could cause LOSSES to a company
What tax BREAKS/DEFERMENTS/EXEMPTIONS are you talking about?

Really ? tell me when was the last time you went to college ? And most of those online colleges ARE SCAMS and they are also not cheap. Look up pheonix university they are an online college, there degrees are pretty useless and yet still people go for them. College is not cheap and neither is college books. You can easily spend $200 on just one book

I get what you're saying. Some do... yes. But what about the mom that has several children from different fathers? And no this ain't about race, because I know plenty of whites with several baby daddies as well. At some point that single mom has to exercise some sort of responsibility and take accountability for her own actions. Yes, s*** happens. Women get pregnant out of wedlock all of the time. But, when it becomes a cycle, I tend to lose sympathy, because at some point you have to take some responsibility for your OWN actions!

I am middle class as well, but single (and at least for 2011 taxes didnt have a mortgage to claim interest)

I havent done my taxes this year yet but last year, single, no mortgage I ended up with a effective FED rate of 16.2%
Add in NC state taxes on top of that (~7%)
Add SS/Med on top of that (5.62% last year)

Just that is 28.82%
Then property taxes on my car
Gas tax($.50/gallon)
Sales tax (10%)

So that would actually be a decrease for me and I made less than $100,000 in 2011 (just under $75,000 as a matter of fact)

This year will probably be about the same. I made about 32% more money in 2012 but have 8 months of mortgage interest to claim.

Stereotypes? I have not stereotyped anyone. conservatism is a political ideology. I am responding to the expressed views of conservatives, and conservatives hate.

if we had proper sex education in this country and not just in a few states perhaps she would be better prepared to keep her legs closed. Also if condoms and other contraceptives were more widely pushed instead of abstinence we would have less kids being born and than in turn being a much lesser drain on others.
