This killing is evidence of the Democrat's war on women.

Another proud pro-choice advocate. Gee, I thought pro-lifers were supposed to be the violent ones.

No way ..... a right winger would have insisted she have the child so shecould be oppressed and not be in control of her body.

Not about politics, it's about the dark side of human nature. Take away the gun and abortion (by proxy) would have occurred with the business end of a blunt object. Take away the abortion and (if it were her choice), that would have occurred at the business end of a coat hanger.

People do what they have to to get things done. It turns tragic when the things their doing cross moral boundaries, affect people's well being...

Also revelling in the irony of the perp's surname, Fitzpatrick. Fitzsimmons, Fitzgerald... didn't the Fitz part originate in ye olde times? Fitz = 'the bastard son' of Patrick/ Gerald, etc.

I'm glad you understand how important choice is Janelle. Every woman MUST make the choice for herself whether to keep her pregnancy, choose abortion, or choose adoption.

Police described the victim’s relationship with Fitzpatrick as being “troubled.” The police maintain that Fitzpatrick killed Gillespie because she was pregnant with his child and refused to have an abortion. The couple had apparently been arguing for hours when the shooting occurred.
Normally, we disagree on alot of stuff, but this we can both agree this was barbaric. For many reasons, I don't like abortion. What I see in this case is someone trying to have control over someone else by taking someone's life.

Well, not "new" exactly, but what else is significant is you characterizing a murder as just another man doing things men do. It's sorta like the "all men are potential rapists" thing. Turns a crime into an extension of natural behavior for men. It's a typical feminist tactic:

State you are for equal rights
Characterize horrible behavior committed by a man as being done because he was a man
Advocate for legislation based on that
Respond to any opposition to that legislation with "so you aren't for equal rights?"

That's what happens when you get knocked up by a pro-choice liberal democrat.

A pro-lifer would never have shot her or harmed the baby.
