This was not suppose to be about right wing vs left wing, liberal vs conservative, but this is what it has turned into.

I love the "anti-choice" spin. I wonder if people who use that phrase realize how ridiculous they sound, and that it does absolutely nothing for their argument?

The usual suspects have chimed in with irrelevant politicization of the motives of the murderer. Fact is, political ideology has little bearing on whether a woman would abort. Another fact is that women who are pregnant are more likely to be beaten or killed than women who are not pregnant. Regardless of their (or their abuser/murderer's) political leanings. Period. Pregnancy has more risks to women's lives than just the actual physical effects of pregnancy, which can be serious enough.

Pregnancy does have its risks. This is why a woman needs to be very discerning on who she decides to be with, and a man needs to treat his wife or girlfriend the right way. Men need to not beat on women. Certain health measures should also be taken, such as eating the right things and not drinking or smoking. Having a child can be one of the most joyous things in the world. It is important to have a child with the right person. The man must treat the woman right. Beating on pregnant women is not a partisan issue. This is an issue of some men thirsting for control over others. Wife beating, especially on a pregnant woman, has alot to do with not only being cruel and evil, but also being weak-minded and cowardly.

Whatever. You probably have a Lefty somewhere in your family tree. How sick do they appear to you on a daily basis? Over the top baseless comments like this do not further the discussion. They say less about Lefties than they say about you. In the End, if we are to be judged, it won't be by one another. How do you think an impartial and objective entitiy parsing the life, as it exists soley in the digital record known as the City Data archive... how do you really think an objective entity would interpret your digital history?

The "pro-lifers" will be the ones standing outside the prison jumping up and down and cheering wildly when the boyfriend gets the needle put in his arm for a capital crime.

Yep. They want to save the baby but if he turns out bad they can't wait to zap him full of chemicals and rejoice that he's no longer a danger to society.

It's also one reason abortion should remain legal. If you've made the mistake of being with someone abusive (however briefly), you need all of your options. And abortion, for these women, may be infinitely preferable to being beaten or killed by this person, or having to spend years fighting for child support, and possibly running for their lives trying to protect the child.
