That's the point.

And it goes for the "first lady" too.

Michele is the first black first lady.

Is she also the first lady with the biggest butt?

So that's what you really want to debate? And we were thinking you were capable of discussing intelligent topics.

How does going on late night tv shows and to the Oscars translate into "working it for her cause?"

She's using her present "status" to mingle with people she never would be able to if she had remained a Senator's wife. She knows her time is limited to access these people.

Eat good food & exercise, now let's dance? Eat good food & exercise, now let's talk about me? Eat good food & exercise, now who is going to supply my dress & jewels for the Oscars? Please.

What other 1st lady went on such a Hollyweird rampage?
One that has an agenda - I really don't think it's childhood obesity.....she is promoting Michele Obama for a reason.

Politicians' wives are beginning to realize that their husbands' notriety can be converted into electibility for them, as well, regardless of their competence.

Hillary is exhibit A. This is a basically talentless woman who parlayed resentment of her husband's philandering into nearly enough sympathy to vault her to the Oval Office. In Hill's mind, America in effect owed her the Presidency as a consolation prize for having been embarrassed by Bubba and Monica Lewinsky. She personified countless bitter women everywhere, who seek, though bitterness, to compensate for their own lack of imagination and effort in their marriage. And in Hillary's case, even her truly dismal performance as Secretary of State (speaking of consolation prizes) has done little to dim her luster in the eyes of her supporters.

And who knows? Hillary may yet make it to the White House, if she can keep from falling down too often and bumping her head again. (Scenario: imagine if any male candidate went AWOL frm Senate hearings, developed a cranial blood clot, and showed up dizzy and wearing glasses, responding to questions involving national security with a plaintive cry of "Who even cares?" Heck, Senator Rubio couldn't even take a swig from a bottle of Dasani!)

And Michelle? She can have just about any political office she desires. Sure, she's an empty-headed egotista, but the media loves her and she's a member of one of the good Teflon minority groups, and thus immune to criticism (For proof, just check the hateful comments on my post. See how long before the racist/misogynist knives come out...)

That's just the way America rolls these days. And who's to say it's any worse than what it used to be, when all the incompetents were men? Though it does give one pause, sometimes. Maxine Waters? Barbara Boxer? Patty Murray? Not exactly brainiacs, you know?

If nothing else, today's feminist America has just confirmed what most of us knew in our hearts, anyway: you don't have to be a man to be a worthless prick.

Hillary is unbeatable, not even Biden or Kerry could take her down unless she implodes on her own. She is a rock star and everyone knows if you hire Hillary you get Billy and everyone loved Billy.

Everyone didn't love Billy in his last year of office.

If they did, Al Gore would have won by a huge margin.

None of the Democrats running in the 2000 primaries wanted Bill Clinton anywhere near them.

Short memory ?

Al Gore is a dull dufus that's why he lost. The gross make out session on stage didn't help. Clinton wasn't perfect but he is the most successful president the US has had in the last 20 years. BJgate was a lame attempt by a bunch of hypocritical neo cons to hang him to dry for stuff they do all the time in more appropriate places.

Doesn't change the fact that hardly any Democrat running for elected office in 2000 ( whether candidate for president, US Senator,or US Representative ) wanted to be associated with Bill Clinton in any way.

Short memory ?
