When reality intervenes, it is not flattering to the conservative conspiracies, but then again, most of the media these days is baldfaced opinion, not fact, so the lies reverberate endlessly.

I am not saying liberals don't lie too, they surely do, but the big difference is that not nearly as many liberals like to listen to obvious propaganda media all day. Conservatives deserve to be judged by their fondness for the hog trough of partisan lies.

The Republican party for most of its history was not dominated by conservatives. There were conservatives in both parties, so conservatives' worst impulses were muted.

With conservatives concentrated in one party, and with that party losing liberals and moderates, the insanity of conservative ideology is overwhelming the party.

conservatives believe a lot of insane fact free things about the world.
They have an insane understanding of the world that smacks against reality. They choose to lie or chosse to pretend.

Is it due to the Fox News effect, or something more? Will the next Republican presidential ticket follow a similar path of Romney/Ryan, and tell lie after lie in order to try and get elected?

Discuss.
Their lying is innate. They are not really 'conservatives' in the classical sense. Their loyalty is to themselves first, then their economic class. They also enjoy making their fellow Americans suffer greatly, and not just by presenting John Boner and Mitch McConartist. Most Americans are with Obama. A lot of Americans will suffer at the Republicons' hands with this sequester but in the end I think their days are numbered.
