What does the Administration mean by this statement?
On Jan 1 the House agreed on raising taxes on the top earners in order to get serious about slowing the increase in spending.
So now everyone over 400k in earnings got their taxes raised.
I would like to know what was cut to match this revenue increase so I can call it fair and balanced.

And if things were cut, why isn't it publicized?

Fair means spending more and balanced means spending more.

Gosh, you're just so darn witty! It must be awesome to be you!

Now, do you have something to post that addresses the subject matter of the thread? Or were you just here to show off how durn smrt you are?

You have to admit, that was a funny one liner.

I did. Obama presented a plan. What did the plan do? It added to the debt. Spending more.

No, I don't, because I saw it coming a mile away. I'm actually surprised that it wasn't the first response to the OP. Jokes that obvious and predictable aren't funny. They're lame, and they're only verbalized (or written) by people that don't understand that, which says a lot about those people - none of it good.

BTW, I'm still waiting for someone to answer the OP's question. Not that I don't appreciate people pointing out the hypocrisy of the President, but I'd really like to see one of his supporters address this. The crushing debt this nation currently has affects them and their children just as much as anyone else - you'd think they'd have an answer that goes beyond bashing Fox or deflecting from the topic.

As they would have anyway since the temporary tax cuts were set to expire. The agreement was to ensure lower incomes get continued tax cuts, at least for now (which is also enjoyed by these 400K earners you speak of).

You shouldn't sound like Fox News. You should, instead, read up the plan that was presented to Congress by the executive office in September 2011. Have you even heard about it?

On Fox News?
