Duh.......
Were there similar photos featuring heterosexuals that were kept in?

Even if it was yanked for another reason, it's still discrimination.

People throw this word around and don't realize what it means. Whenever some has to choose one thing over the other, he or she has to discriminate.

Maybe you should find out before you start crying??? Now your arguing nothing but what if's and maybe's. Like I have said previously this is much ado about nothing just the gay arming getting all wound out about nothing like usual. And you wonder why folks don't take the wolf crying serious.

That's why I tell people that discrmination is a good thing.

I wonder if folks realize they discrminate all the time. And then the think others shouldn't have the same right because they don't agree with the decision.

In the end, whatever the school used to influence their decision, I think we can all agree to keep the government out of overseeing the vetting procedures for yearbook photos.

Oh look.

More idiotic discrimination against gays.

Seriously? Those pictures? Inappropriate?

Right. No. Sure, "kids have no rights in schools". However, that argument doesn't fly when it comes to outright discrimination.

Rivera's father, Felix, encourages his daughter to be herself and he's behind her 100 percent as she tries to have the photo reinstated

Well, isn't that special! He can just hang her goofy picture in his living room and enjoy it all he wants.

Why are pictures like this in high school yearbook, anyway. Straight or lez. They don't belong there.

I think some of these posters should start applying for high school principal jobs.

They all seem to know exactly what decisions they should be making.

And we would get the added bonus of knowing no homosexuals will ever have their egos bruised or feelings hurt again.

We won't even need teachers. Just turn MSNBC on and they can tell the students exactly how to think and what is appropriate.

They actually don't have rights in schools. Other than freedom from bodily harm. You know, that kinda thing.

School systems have complete control over what students do.
They can even tell them what to wear.
When to be there and when to leave.
Were they will sit in class.
What they can say and not say.
Search them without a warrent.
Confiscate their property because they feel like it.
Even decide what pictures go in the school yearbook.

And "outright discrimination" is not a crime. Nor did it even harm anyone.

The school made a decision that was well within their rights. Just because you don't agree with that decision doesn't mean they give up their right to make it.

Liberals are always talking about freedom of choice. guess that's just bull**** that sounds good. Obviously they don't believe it.
