If the picture was yanked because they didn't want a picture of two gay people but kept in other pictures of heterosexuals then yes, that's discrimination. Duh.
Even if it was yanked for another reason, it's still discrimination.

In the end, whatever the school used to influence their decision, I think we can all agree to keep the government out of overseeing the vetting procedures for yearbook photos.
Right. No. Sure, "kids have no rights in schools". However, that argument doesn't fly when it comes to outright discrimination.
They actually don't have rights in schools. Other than freedom from bodily harm. You know, that kinda thing.
School systems have complete control over what students do.
They can even tell them what to wear.
When to be there and when to leave.
Were they will sit in class.
What they can say and not say.
Search them without a warrent.
Confiscate their property because they feel like it.
Even decide what pictures go in the school yearbook.
And "outright discrimination" is not a crime. Nor did it even harm anyone.
The school made a decision that was well within their rights. Just because you don't agree with that decision doesn't mean they give up their right to make it.
Liberals are always talking about freedom of choice. guess that's just bull**** that sounds good. Obviously they don't believe it.
