You mean the majoirty of the lap dog liberal media people. Most citizens don't care about the sequester, in fact the majority of Americans cannot name one program ths is affected by this.

That's because Williams, Sawyer & Pelley have brainwashed them into believing these lies since the Democrats created this, and now have to live with the results, and will definitely pay the price during the 2014 elections.

Kudos to Pres. Obama for not backing down. Republicans are 100% responsible.
1. The Republicans already agreed to taxes going up at the beginning of the year. Obama is now requesting another tax increase not even 3 months after the last one.

2. Republicans offered a bill to put apportioning cuts in Obama's hands. Obama refused. When Republicans tell Obama he can cut whatever he wants and he says no then you cannot blame the sequester on Republicans. And that's not partisanship, that's just 1+1 does not equal 3 type logic.

Nailed it!

It's great watching them try and twist themselves into a pretzel trying to make sense of what their guardians at FOX News and the plethora of wingnut websites that try and spin their hypocrisy into something that makes sense.

It's why you almost feel sorry for these people.

Almost.

Well then tell me the sense in this:

Give Egypt $2 billion per year and spend $25 billion per year in maintaining empty Fed buildings and $2.5 billion to investigate high speed rail by DoT.
That's $29.5 billion right there. None of those are on the cut list.

WIC, Head Start and closing down FAA towers are being cut.

Please explain the left logic in choosing essential services to cut over non-essential services.

I don't know where you get your information at, nor do I know if any of that is accurate. I do realize the importance of foreign aid to Egypt, and what message it would send to a new government (arguably a democratic one) after it overthrew a corrupt U.S. crony dictatorship that received billions in U.S. aid for decades, and the message this would send the rest of the world: That our support for Democracy is a fraud. Of course, many around the world know this, just look at the blood soaked years in Central America when Reagan was President, or Chile in 1973, or Iran under Eisenhower, or a host of other instances where the U.S. tried to suppress democracy, usually successfully, in favor of a dictatorship.

Maintaining empty Fed buildings, are we to tear them down? Are they not going to be operational as soon as Republicans are done playing their games?

As far as high speed rail, anything that advances our country, be it less resistance on driving/oil, be it alternative energy, even repairing infrastructure, will be torpedoed by the GOP. They are bought and paid for by the oil industry and wealthiest 1%.

The wealthiest 1% are who millions of poor working conservatives line up to carry water for, and are the reason we are having this discussion about sequestration.

The Brotherhood took over Egypt.
One can sell a building.
You put high speed rail over WIC and Head Start ?

You just justified why we should cut services to the poor and other taxpayers in favor of making sure non essential services stay funded.

And enough with the RWNJ intent..the DoJ is headed by LaHood, appointed by Obama in 2009.
Huerta, head of the FAA is another Obama appointee.

If his job is not needed he needs to get a skill that is needed. Maybe some assistance to gain that skill. Giving him a hand up, not a hand out.

Is this how the Democrats handle budget cuts ..essential services first ?
1. The majority of Republicans passed this bill, so they were up for it, too.

2. Every dollar you cut is probably "essential service" to someone. You either cut some kid's education, someone's healthcare, someone's low-income assistance, or military and infrastructure.
