The really sad part is if Woodward wouldn't have called him on it this lie would still be being used to empower his sheeple. How does the guy sleep at night. I guess if you have no moral code to live by you sleep pretty well.
There is a code. The code is "the ends justify the means". Obama is an Alinskyite. Obama's goals are good (in his mind) so therefore lying and cheating to achieve those goals is acceptable.

Obama's dishonesty doesn't surprise me at all. But what gets me is his supporters who can't admit he's doing it. I understand Obama saying the sequester is the Republicans' fault. I do not understand anybody actually believing it.

You can criticize Bush, but your brain shuts off when Obama's name is mentioned.
I think it goes beyond political party with some of these C-D posters. They are true devoted disciples of Obama.

No one gets elected to anything by telling the truth or managing expectations.

No one gets elected to anything without spending most of their time fund raising and telling people what they want to hear, like 47%.

No one gets elected to anything without being in the pocket of special interests.

All that being true doesn't absolve Obama. If Bush told 50% lies and Obama tells 75% lies, then Obama still gets the blame for that 25%.

The fact is that political realities cannot be said to have required Obama to consistently blame Bush for the economy years after Bush was out of office. No other president, Democrat or Republican, in my lifetime has done that. And nobody else has that reputation. Many have been called warmongers or big spenders. Many have been said to overstep their authority. But Obama is unique in being the Blamer In Chief.

When Reagan wasn't going to budge on something he said that, he didn't fraudulently say he was compromising when he wasn't and say the other side wasn't compromising when they were. Clinton dropped his healthcare plan when the American people weren't in favor of it and declared the era of big government is over. It simply isn't true to say that Obama is just like all the rest. Obama has been repeatedly willing to allow the nation to suffer as long as Republicans get blamed for it. Every single other President, Democrat and Republican, has compromised for the good of the country except Obama. Reagan raised taxes, Clinton reformed welfare, etc.

I'm a Republican but I'm willing to admit the truth. I don't call him a Kenyan, a Muslim, a socialist, a dictator, etc. But that doesn't mean I have to give him a pass on the stuff he really is guilty of. I'm not going to bow to pressure to give him a pass just so I'm not labelled a racist Obama hater.

Lying and passing blame are two of Obama's greatest traits and are cheered by his followers. Just look around the threads liberals celebrating that republicans will be blamed for the pain caused by the sequester. That is all they care about just like their dear leader. They could care less about what is best for the US only what is best for Obama. They are the problem.

Reagan, the advocate for a balanced budget never, not once, submitted a balanced budget?

Reagan vowed to reduce taxes and yet substantially increased Payroll taxes " to make sure money was in place 20 years into the future". He then deficit spent every cent.

Reagan did reduce Federal Income taxes but not with reduced spending. The debt increased 67% under Reagan.

Reagan raised the debt ceiling 18x on his watch and no one blinked.

Back then, it was necessary to bail out the S&L cricic to the tune of about $1 1Trillion in today's dollar.

Back then, Cable News, Political Radio and the Internet did not exist. No one achieved celebrity status and wealth by playing into people's fears, hate and constant blaming.
