Nearly 1,200 people have starved to death in NHS hospitals because 'nurses are too busy to feed patients' | Mail Online

"As many as 1,165 people starved to death in NHS hospitals over the past four years fuelling claims nurses are too busy to feed their patients."

******************************

Its already been stated, by several sources, there is going to be a shortage of doctors and healthcare workers with the increase of persons using the system. The deaths attributed to the widely loved NHS System, a system MANY here want us to replicate, is because of a lack of healthcare workers.

But hell, everyone is covered, right?

UN World Health Care System Rankings.

The highest rated systems all have government provided, universal health care.

World Health Organization ranking of health systems - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

At 2/3rds the cost.

That study has been dismissed by every serious scholar. It was rigged to rank health care systems by how socialized they are. According to this pantsload our healthcare system is eclipsed by that of Malta. If that passes anyone's smell test -anyone's at all- they're too stupid to live.

This study was laughed at so hard, you'll be hard pressed to see it on the WHO web site. They took it down years ago.

Isn't that special. Who cares if a few people die, because they can't get a drink of water. Its cheaper...

Well #1 Doesn't "debunk" anything. The one expert just comes up with another way of measuring.
#2 Is a right wing/libertarian think tank funded by the Koch brothers.
#3 Actually supports the WHO rankings and universal health care???????

The cause of death for many terminally ill is starvation or dehydration when the patient or family decides to forego feeding tubes and/or IV fluids.

Do you mean by right wing fear mongering scholars? Are such people even considered scholars?

Of course! The entire ranking system is rigged to make the US healthcare system look bad! It couldn't possibly be because we have dozens of millions of people in this country with NO affordable access to healthcare coverage.

Please get real. Healthcare in this country is a disaster. If you truely do not believe so then you are delusional.

And what do you have to say about the TENS OF THOUSANDS of people who die in America every year due to preventable conditions if they would have just had the money to go see a doctor sooner? America's healthcare system makes the less fortunate in society wait until they are at deaths door before they can get access to care.

Obamacare is ENTIRELY unable to support itself financially... I am eager to see who is going to get the blame... the President and the liberals who created it... or the Republicans who opposed it... my sense is, the liberals will... do I really have to complete that sentence for you?

Oh I care about them too. However, why take an already bad situation and add too it? Obamacare is going to add millions of people to our health care system, which is already over burdened and has poor infrastructure. Because of this, MORE people will die. And all people can say is: Well, at least they have healthcare now???

How about we get the infrastructure in place FIRST, in order to make the transition smoother and easier?
