Conservatives have been arguing that gun violence is rooted in the exposure to violent video games (well... since Aurora...).
are you under the 'simple' impression that all conservatives share some sort of hive-mind?
links pls.

If Conservatives believe that playing a character that's shooting imaginary things on a screen is glorifying gun violence, they must also believe that running around w/ your friends doing the same thing is glorifying gun violence.
shooting 'things'? what kind of 'things'?
inanimate targets?
why must they believe this?

If Conservatives believe that running around pretending to shoot guns is glorifying violence,
,
which conservatives believe such a crazy thing? link?

why is unbelievable that schools would just go to the source and have a zero-tolerance policy toward toy guns?
since the first part of that sentence is a straw man, there's no point in trying to answer the second.

This is the end-game to you complaining about there not enough being done to combat violence in kids.
when did i voice such a complaint?

You looked for a substitute to blaming guns
no i didn't.
you forgot to answer the question i asked last time, let's try again.

good grief. they just had local coverage of this on TV- the school offered counseling to the kids in his class that may have been traumatized by this gun-glorifying pop-tart moment
• HYPHEN (noun)
The noun HYPHEN has 1 sense:
1. a punctuation mark (-) used between parts of a compound word or between the syllables of a word when the word is divided at the end of a line of text
the hyphen is joining the words 'suspended' and 'teacher' making the subject of the sentence a 7 year old suspended teacher
the hyphen is joining the words 'suspended' and 'teacher' making the subject of the sentence a 7 year old suspended teacher
I read it as a dash, not a hyphen.
" A dash is a punctuation mark, similar to a hyphen or minus sign but differing primarily in length and serving different functions. The most common versions of the dash are the en dash (–) and the em dash (—), named for the length of a typeface's lower-case n and upper-case M respectively.
Usage varies both within English and in other languages, but the usual convention in printed English text is:
Either dashes may be used to denote a break in a sentence or set off parenthetical statements, although writers are generally cautioned to use a single form consistently within their work. In this function, en dashes are used with spaces and em dashes are used without them."
the hyphen is joining the words 'suspended' and 'teacher' making the subject of the sentence a 7 year old suspended teacher
So, as usual, when you got nothing, you go for little things like grammar....
Typical of the left...
