Maybe the state feels if they make the tenant's lives miserable enough they'll get out on their own 100%.
They don't have to live there, right? Free to leave whenever.
I don't see any problem here. They're doing for the safety of those that reside there. If everybody cleaned up their act this wouldn't need to happen.

So you are arguing for guilt by association? Because your neighbor is a drug dealer you deserve to have the place you live searched also?
To be fair, they state that you can tell them to not bring in the dog if you are home. If you are not home they will have the dog search your Apartment.
Whats your opinion on this or maybe the Constitutionality on it (4th Amendment)?
Uh, they're living in my house, so they play by my rules.....I give consent to search....any time.
If they don't like my rules, they can GTFO my house.
You people just don't get it. You ain't got money to waste.
So long as I'm paying the bills or any part of them, then I make the freaking rules. If you got money for drugs and alcohol and such, then you got money for rent.
Same with Food Stamps. A hair sample to drug test every 6 months is non-invasive and sufficient. Don't like it? Then buy your own damn food.
If it would be up to me, you'd drug test for Student Loans. Don't like it? Then pay your own damn way through college (I did).
When people turn their neighborhoods into a craphole, what did they expect?
It doesn't matter if it's a ghetto, or a cluster of multi million dollar mansions, it's still unconstitutional.

The problem is that it violates the 4th amendment. Unless they have probable cause and a warrant they have no right to be doing searches. Should the law abiding citizens be searched too? This is done at random, after all. Someone who is obeying the law and living their lives hurting nobody should never have a police officer and his dog inside their home searching through their things. Period.
