there is no well being of the country, obama failed well being in the last kick at the cat and has been able to get re-elected and divert attention away from his very limited abilities to problem solve.....its all distraction and blame to hide behind the reality of failure and zero product...thats just it, the product is chaos. So these are the needs of the left...to feel chaos, feel the pain...ironically obama has the right idea and the wrong group..people insist on learning for themselves so I agree with thread OP....the vote is over...let er go and let it be. Drastic change is needed from culture attitude to political style...the only way that can happen is a collective voice in need....the only way a collective voice in need will ever happen is 'with not without, a real experience of need in action.....its either now let it ride or 2016 another kicking the can style thing because it just isn't obvious enough to the non participating un-aware voter.

In evidence.idea's of H Clinton running in 2016....that is ridiculous as it would just be more of the phony same....these people wanna be socialites not leaders - They Are Completely Confused....so the only way to change that is to explain in reality to the people by experience ...'why...a leader is import and what the job really is. So rightie politicians make too much noise and should just dump the whole load where it belongs...things will just ultimately be worse if they shelter what is a problem. The only way to get the poison out of the body is to expose to reality...cut that thing open and let er go...forget the band-aide...get your own its your mess...possibly a more open doorway to getting down to some better economy in 2 years.

There is no revenue problem. It's a fantasy. Spending has gone up astronomically in the past few years and the "cuts" aren't even enough to cover the standard yearly increases.

The "revenue problem" is just an excuse to raise taxes.

Here's cutting to the bone:

Also, you said yourself that republicans should tie increases to a poison pill, your words not ours. Why harm the nation so you can win in 2016 ?
Why don't you ask Obama that? The White House response to APHIS requesting permission to make cuts not affect essential services:

“We have gone on record with a notification to Congress and whoever else that ‘APHIS would eliminate assistance to producers in 24 states in managing wildlife damage to the aquaculture industry, unless they provide funding to cover the costs.’ So it is our opinion that however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be”

Barack already got his tax increase as part of the fiscal cliff negotiations. Time for him to start cutting.
