And yet these jackwagons continue to call themselves journalists, which is beyond baffling to me. But what’s MORE baffling to me is that the average person out there lets them get away with it.
Wow.
Yep. There's nothing to see here, folks. Just keep shoving what they feed you down your pieholes. Mmmm hmmm.
“Every time I go to the Internet, I find another horror story about this guy,” said Sullenger. “The story keeps getting worse, as we have found so many times doing our own investigations of abortionists across the nation. It is chilling to think of how many abortionists like Gosnell are out there that have not yet been exposed because of a general lack of oversight. The authorities just are not checking up on the abortion industry, unless something really bad happens to surface, as in this case. But what we do hear about is just the tip of the iceberg.”
Sullenger said, “If abortion clinics were inspected half as often as the local McDonald’s Restaurant, there would be no abortion clinics left open in the U.S. It really is that bad.”
“We pray that the exposure Gosnell has received will lead authorities to inspect and close every abortion clinic that presents a danger to the public – and that would mean all of them,” she concluded.
In recent years, federal legislation is attempting to put the brakes on the endorsement of infanticide, as witnessed by the above-mentioned “Born-Alive Infants Protection Act,” signed into law in 2002, and the “Partial-Birth Abortion Ban,” signed into law in 2003 and upheld by the Supreme Court in 2007.
But “it’s the law” is not a sufficient argument to resolve the underlying dangerous tension created by allowing children to be killed at certain stages for rationales that no longer apply to the same children at later stages.
Kermit Gosnell is on trial in Philadelphia for “snipping” the spinal cords of babies scheduled to be aborted but actually born alive in his abortion clinic. Is he just crazy, or is he simply following the logic of an industry based on the assertion that the mother’s choice overrides any right to protection that the baby has?
I don't think it is the women's fault. They are victims of the times and a society that says go do it. They don't know what they are getting into.
It seems women are always "victims" in these circumstances. Why are johns arrested simply for offering a woman money for sex? Prostitution is perpetuated by prostitutes; men are arrested for satisfying their sex drive, something completely instinctual. Yet, it is regarded as a crime. in general, laws have always favored women.
"3 of 7 murder charges thrown out, now forgive me if I am wrong, its been 17 years since I helped my daughter with arithmetic but 7-3 leave 4. Four remaining murder charges is not synonymous (the same) as murder charges being "tossed."
Every abortion is a tragedy - and no child should die alone.
