Well if Viagra is covered, then birth control should be.

Because many people believe that sex is for procreation only.
If they are going to provide free or low cost birth control it should be condoms, at least that way it will cut down on the transmission of STD's. If you want the pill you need to pay.

Conservatives think that it's crazy to spend tax payer money on this when there are so many other, more important things going on. Conservatives hate entitlements. The U.S has a $17,000,000,000,000 + debt and it's only increasing with Obama in office. Some people don't understand economics.
Liberals think that free birth control helps support women's rights. These people think they are fighting for equality but what they are really fighting for is special treatment towards women. How can you be fighting for equality if men and women aren't given equal treatment/equal rights? Have you ever seen a campaign fighting for men's rights (if you did it is very uncommon)?
I agree, I think the condoms idea is a good solution.
In what way is providing medical coverage of a birth control pill prescription giving women preferential treatment? How is women's health an "entitlement"? I very much would like to have these explained.
And how much would covering a script for the pill realistically add to the national debt?
