Lol 0.9% of the population has an issue with the name of a football team.
Quick, we better change everything that could possibly offend someone!!!!

As someone who has spent nearly a third of her life fighting the Redskins nickname, Suzan Shown Harjo had a good laugh when asked about the team’s latest line of defense

These issues have been raised for decades, involving not just this team but many others. I don't have a problem with Native Americans raising objections. That's their right. I don't think of that population segment as being denegrated by the names, but ... I'm not Native American.
I'm sorry, but the issue goes beyond the PC police. Redskins is the equivalent to the N word.
Natives have been fighting to have the Redskins change their name for years, long before people even considered the idea of being politically correct.
If they dont like it, they dont have to watch the games. They can avoid seeing the name and having their sensitive little feelings hurt. They are a miniscule portion of the population and can avoid being "offended".
It's time for them, like everyone else who whines about being offended, to grow up.
Heck nobody will care about the skins again until RGIII's knee is healthy.
They used to have those folks protesting outside of Chiefs games back in the day too when they first started this madness about team names. One would think these folks would be protesting the Cowboys. They're the guys who used to fight the indians.
